New Items in the Etsy Shop
I posted a bunch of prints, comics and original art in my Etsy Shop. If you’ve been wanting to get something from me but missed me at a convention, this is the best way to go about it. Lots of cool stuff, please feel free to check it out.
Here is a cover I helped make for Break The Walls. A kickstarter is running right now for it and it looks like a neat little book.
I did the layouts, Scott Godlewski blew it all away with his pencils and inks and then I colored it.
Albuquerque Comic Expo
Last year I had the privilege of attending ACE and this weekend I will be back in Duke City selling my wares, promoting awesomeness and being generally, mildly positive. I will be at Table D20, surrounded by the insanely talented Shannon Denton, Andy Kuhn and Phil Hester. I’ll have two new prints debuting, my now standard “souvenir” prints, and a new Thor print. Because he’s pretty cool. Only $10 a piece, I’ll also have original art for sale, be doing sketches and commissions and selling my new comic Cara Fantasma. I’ll also be at the 2 Drink Minimum Panel on Friday June 8th. Comic creators come together for a roundtable discussion about working in the industry with a twist – a two drink minimum! Panel Room A (6pm-8pm) Cash bar at event for 21+. Probably for mature audiences. Featuring Ben Templesmith, Andy Kuhn, Phil Hester, Ryan Cody, and Aaron Campbell
Trust me.
I first heard The Pixies when I was a freshman in high school. Much like the scene in Garden State where the guy from Scrubs tells Padme that “it will change your life”, for me it did. By far, my favorite band of all time, and a hugely influential one as well. Next month a small tribute anthology called Break The Walls will be coming out, where all the short stories are inspired by the band and their music. I illustrated a story written by Joshua Fialkov in it, but the part I am most proud and excited of is that my pal Scott Godlewski agreed to draw a story I wrote for it. Above are a few clips from his pages. It’s awesome, and the book should be pretty cool. If you’re interested in supporting it, check out the kickstarter for it – http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/756324374/break-the-walls-comic-stories-inspired-by-the-pixi
Art by Scott Godlewski.
My favorite thing.
Phoenix Comicon 2012 Wrap-up
Another Phoenix Comicon is in the books, and it was the best one yet. I’m always humbled by the support I get at this con. It is my local convention and I continue to get support from repeat customers every year. I promise next year to have some really special items at my table if they are kind enough to invite me back. Once again I sat next to my pal Scott Godlewski and that always makes the event 100% better. He’s a criminally under-appreciated artist who I managed to get some original art and a sketchbook from. Big thanks to John Derrick West for hanging out, drumming up sales for me and being a wonderful addition to my table. The staff treat the guests extremely well and they are one of the best things about this convention. I hope to be there again next year next to Scott and one last thanks to Jesse James for the invite to be a guest this year.
Upcoming apprearances
Sorry for the delay in posts, trying to keep my head above water on this end. A few weeks ago was the first ever Arizona Comic Mini Expo (ACME). An event I organized to celebrate all the best Arizona comic book talent. Even though it turned out to be more work than I imagined, it was great weekend and I’m really happy with all the creators and fans that cam out to support us. I’m already looking forward to next year. Coming up next weekend however, is the Phoenix Comicon, a great event that I am super proud to be associated with. I’ll be at Table 952, next to the amazing Scott Godlewski. I’ll have some limited edition prints like these for only $10 each –
and I’ll also have a limited supply of my new book, CARA FANTASMA!
Only $3! I will also be selling copies of the Jesus Christ: In the Name of the Gun Vol.2 Temporal Death Punch trades.
Last, but not least, I have these prints left over from ACME. The Monstros print was created as a charity print, and all proceeds go to the HERO Initiative. Both prints are only $5!

Sketchbooks are $5 as always, $10 with a head sketch, and commission sketches range from $15 to $50. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!
Emerald City Comicon 2012
This weekend I will be in Seattle for Emerald City Comicon 2102. I love this con so much, it always has the best guest list, focuses a lot on comics, and has some of the best fans in the country. I will be at table O-04 and will have comics, sketchbooks, original art and new prints for sale. I will also happily be drawing for money. Friday night I will also be bowling for charity alongside the HERO Initiative, so if you’re in town, come bowl with us and raise money for a great charity. Here is all the info – http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290689940957
All original art is marked down for quick sale, with newer pages starting at only $20. Here are the two new prints I will be debuting at the con, with the Emerald City Exclusive print available only at the show, although I will be reserving a few for some select repeat customers. As always, my 11×17 prints are more along the lines of mini-posters, and are only $5 each.

Convention season is here!
Emerald City is this weekend, so I thought I would put up my 2012 price list. Other cons scheduled this year are ACME – Arizona Mini Comic Expo, Phoenix Comic-Con, & ACE – Albuquerque Comic Expo.
ACME artist appreciation, Scott Godlewski
